Earth has lost a wonderful man; Heaven has gained a beautiful Soul.  Albert was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
 Albert C. Robles, 79, of Wiley, Co died March 1 at Sangre de Cristo Hospice Care.

He was born July 20, 1933, in En Monte Escobedo, Zacatecas, Mexico, at the age of 16 moved to Colorado, where he met and married his wife and raised ten children.

Mr. Robles worked at Ark-Valley Milling Co. in Wiley, Co., until his retirement.  He spent 61 taking care of his wife and family.
He loved the Church, Knight of Columbus, Denver Broncos and Rockies.  Most of all he loved having his family and friends around him.  He had a huge heart, never saying that he did not have the time and always having room for one more.
He enjoyed the outdoors, learning new skills, and US history.  He loved both his countries and was so proud when he received his US Citizenship.

Mr. Robles is survived by his wife, Amelina M. Robles of Wiley;  5 Daughters, Guadalupe(Rudy Gallegos) Angela(Jeff Ivey) both of Cheyenne, WY.,  Cecilia Herrera of Pueblo., Raquel(Robert Ramirez) of Wichita, Ks., Delores(John Doura) of Elizabeth;  four sons, Luis(Bev)Robles of Littleton., Alvin(Julie)Robles of Pueblo., Martin(Orti)Ramirez of Wichita, Ks., John(Donna) Robles of Centennial., Rafeal Robles of Wiley; 29 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren., one sister Otilia Alatorre of Calif;  numerous relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hortensia(Orti)Ramirez; granddaughter Jessica(Gallegos)Torres;  grandson Christopher Gallegos; and sisters, Amparo Munoz, Lupe Aguilera.

Vigil for the deceased was held Friday 1-5pm March 8 at Peacock Funeral Home in Lamar, Co

Rosary was held at 9:30am March 9 Funeral liturgy followed at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Charles Sena as celebrant.

Interment was held at Fairmont Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ryan Robles, Anthony Ramirez, Phil Herrera, Chris Herrera, Nick Herrera; Roberto Ramirez

Honorary pallbearers were Isaac Ramirez, Albert Robles, John Michael Doura, Matthew Doura,  Andres Robles, Adrian Robles.
Friends who wish may contribute to Sangre de Cristo Hospice Care or The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
