A Mass of Christian burial for former Lamar resident currently of Aurora, Colorado, Shanna Lynn Jimenez will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A rosary service will be held at the church prior to the Mass at 9:30AM with Stan Ybarra reciting.
Visitation for Shanna will be held from 10:00AM until 2:00PM on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Shanna was born on August 18, 1976 at Lamar, Colorado to David Lee and Joan Anita (Olivo) Jimenez and passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2017 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 40.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fred and Mercedes (Martinez) Olivo and paternal grandparents, Telesflo “Joe” and Rebecca Jimenez.
Shanna is survived by her children, Alexandria Rose Demchuk and Maygan Nicole Demchuk both of Aurora, her fiancé, Manuel Vargas also of Aurora, her parents, David and Joan Jimenez of Lamar, and her siblings, Matthew Jimenez of Ft. Collins, CO, Vincent (Brittany) Jimenez of Lamar and Nicole Jimenez of Aurora. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Cory Demchuk of Aurora as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shanna Jimenez Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
