A funeral liturgy service for longtime Granada resident, Lawrence A. Campos will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Granada, Colorado.
Per the Lawrence’s request there will be no visitation.
Lawrence was born on August 10, 1933 at Granada, Colorado to Lino R. Campos and Martina Ariaza and passed away on May 5, 2017 at the Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly, Colorado at the age of 83.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lino and Martina Campos and his siblings, Sally Vargas, Frank Campos, Alvin Campos, Elizabeth Vargas and Johnny Campos.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Deborah Pates of Denver, Larry Campos of Illinois, Leonard Campos of Falcon, CO and Lester Campos of Denver, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his siblings, Manuel Campos, Inez Garcia, Josie Rivera, Mac (Maggie) Campos, Delores Melgosa, Virginia (John) Navarrette, Peter (Rosie) Campos, Tony (Sally) Campos and Fred (Mary Dhrif) Campos as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Granada Cemetery Improvement Fund either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
