A graveside service for longtime Lamar resident, Ivan J. Rogers will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar with Pastor Darren Stroh officiating.
Visitation for Ivan will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Ivan was born on May 13, 1938 at Tungsten, Colorado to Earl and Frances (White) Rogers and passed away on June 28, 2017 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 79.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, John J. Rogers, and five siblings, Ivan, Earl, Sil, Louise and Reene.
Ivan is survived by his wife, Lupe Rogers of the family home in Lamar, son, Ivan Rogers of Lamar, CO and his siblings, Gene Rogers and Joyce (Ted) Jensen all of Lochbuie, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
