William “Bill” Ralph Buxton
A celebration of life for lifetime Lamar resident, William Ralph Buxton, known to his family and friends as Bill, will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation for Bill will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 1:00PM until 6:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel. The family will greet friends from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
Bill was born on September 17, 1941 at Lamar, Colorado to Andrew Jackson and Laura Frances (Turpin) Buxton and passed away on September 9, 2017 at the age of 75.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Doris Buxton, his parents and his brothers, Kenny and Tom Buxton.
Bill is survived by his children, Bart (Melissa) Buxton and Angie (Roy) Cue all of Lamar, two grandchildren, Hayden Buxton of Lamar and Emma (Richie) Knauss of Fountain, CO and two great-grandchildren, Kyler and Parker Knauss. He is also survived by numerous cousins to include, Gary (Ann) Turpin and Kent (Val) Turpin all of Lamar as well as other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar SDS either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
