A graveside celebration of life for lifetime Lamar resident, Allen E. Eckles will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar with Pastor Rory Gillespie of the Lamar Presbyterian Church officiating.
Per Allen’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Allen was born on February 9, 1949 at San Bernardino, California to Charles and Mary (Buchtel) Eckles and passed away on September 15, 2017 in Lamar at the age of 68.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his aunt, June McConnell.
Allen is survived by his uncle, Taylor McConnell of Sante Fe, NM and his cousins, Larry (Mary) McConnell of Taos, NM and Judy (Dick) McConnell-Steele of Boise, ID as well as a host of friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
