Colleen Shedeck
A graveside service for Syracuse, Kansas resident, Colleen Shedeck was held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Coolidge Cemetery in Coolidge, Kansas with her daughter Vicki Wilson officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Shedeck was held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon on Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Colleen was born July 23, 1922 at Coolidge, Kansas to Harry Lance and Ann L. (Laubach) Crittenden and passed away at the Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly, Colorado on April 4, 2012 at the age of 89.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Shedeck, parents, a son Kurt Shedeck, her sister Ava Jean Ewers and a sister-in-law Dorothy Crittenden.
Colleen is survived by her son Mike (Connie) Shedeck of Dalhart, TX and a daughter Vicki (Bill) Wilson of Fritch, TX. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren her brother Bob Crittenden of Lamar numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice or the Parkinson’s Association.

When I was in high school in Spearman,TX, I plowed for Richard and Colleen Shedeck. She brought lunch to the field where we were working.
