Keith Lee McCorkle
A Memorial Service for longtime Lamar, Colorado resident currently of Canon City, Keith McCorkle was held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Manuel Tamaz of the Life Center Foursquare Gospel Church officiating. P
er Keith’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Keith was born on August 6, 1943 at Greeley, Colorado to Lee and Bertha (Randolph) McCorkle and passed away on March 2, 2012 at Canon City, Colorado at the age of 68.
He is preceded in death by his father; Lee McCorkle, mother; Bertha McCorkle, step-mother; Florence McCorkle, grandparents; C.P. and Hattie McCorkle, step-brother and sister-in-law; Charles and Helen Southard, uncle and aunt; Albert (Alma Lou) McCorkle and aunt; Margie McCorkle. Keith is survived by his two daughters; Sheila (Leroy) Frazee of Silt, CO and Christy McCorkle of Lamar, four granddaughters; Adrian (Justin) Botting and Becca Frazee of Silt, CO and Megan and Courtney McCorkle of Lamar and great-grandson; Parker Botting. He is also survived by one sister; Patsy (Dean) Schwartz of Lamar and one step-brother; Eugene (Willa Mae) Southard of Grand Junction, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Keith McCorkle Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
