A graveside funeral service for former longtime Lamar resident and current Colorado Springs resident, Frances C. Hogan, was held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar with I
an Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Visitation for Mrs. Hogan was held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at the Peacock Funeral Home in Lamar.
Mrs. Hogan was born on December 8, 1916 in Mount Ridge, Kansas to Henry A and Mary (Kleiwer) Voth and departed this life on Thursday March 1, 2012 at the Skyway Park Assisted Living Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 95.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband – John J. Hogan; and by a great-great granddaughter – Tricity Storme Ratzlaff.
Frances C. Hogan is survived by one daughter – Patricia (Virgil) Schymos of Colorado Springs, CO; by two grandchildren – Helen (Scott) Rehfeld of Garmisch, Germany; and Betty Pillsbury of Livermore Falls, Maine; by three great grandchildren – John (Lana) Schymos; Jennifer (Paul) Weinrauch; and Chris Pillsbury; and by seven great-great grandchildren – Amelia and Nathan Pillsbury; Symyra Ratzlaff; Torrian and ZyreeWeinrauch; and William and Kyle Schymos; also surviving are other relatives and a host of friends.
