Eva M. Austin
A Mass of Christian Burial for lifetime Lamar resident, Eva M. Austin, was held at 10:00 AM
Monday April 16, 2012 at St. Frances de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar. Father Charles Sena was the celebrant and burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar.
A rosary servicewas held at 6:00 PM Sunday April 15, 2012 also at St. Frances de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar. Deacon Allan Medina conducted the rosary.
Visitation for Eva was held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar and prior to the rosary and Mass at the church.
Eva M. Austin was born on January 29, 1979 in Lamar, Colorado to Maria (Olvera) Tovar and
departed this life unexpectedly on Thursday April 12, 2012 at the age of 33.
Eva was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents – Pedro and Maria Olvera; and by two aunts – Yolanda Gonzales and Anna Olvera.
Eva is survived by three daughters – Felicity Austin, Valerie Austin, and Trinity Gonzales all of Lamar; by her mother – Maria Tovar of Lamar; by one brother – Gilbert Tovar; and by four sisters – Amanda Tovar, Juanita Tovar, Andrea Tovar, and Jennifer Tovar all of Lamar; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many-many friends.
