Online Condolences | We would like to echo the thoughts of our son Bud about what a caring "babysitter" Mrs. Bever was to our children. She was a very special lady ! Our sympathies to all her family and friends. She will be missed. Bill and Kathy Wootten | | To the Family of Mrs. Bever, I recall with much fondness the "babysitting" that we received from "Mrs. Bever" as we knew her. My parents could not have found a more responsible or caring person to watch us while they went on some most deserving trips away from us kids. The best memory I have is that one time we were at the movie theater and her car would not start, well she got us kids home in the only cab in Lamar at the time, and she came out of the house with cash and all kinds of apoligies. I can only wish that I find someone like her to watch my kids! My sincerest condolences go out ot you all. Bud Wootten | | Sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. I remember going to the nursing home in Holly and visiting on several occasions with Mrs Beavers. If there is anything we can do let us know. John and Bernice Bellomy | We are so sorry to hear of Mary Ellen's passing. Her brother Grant Walter (G.W.) was a great friend of ours (Delbert and Dot)back in the 1940's and 50's. We lost contact with G.W. and June over the years, so glad to hear that they are still well and in Cheyenne. If my memory is correct, either Mary Ellen and Everett, or Kieth and Louise were also our landlords when we rented their house in the 200 block of North 11th in Lamar, in 1955-56. We are keeping the family in our prayers. May the Lord bless and keep you in your time of sorrow. Delbert and Dot Spencer, Rocky Ford, CO |
