Debra “Deb” Avery
A Celebration of Life for longtime Lamar resident Debra “Deb” Avery was held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. Cremation followed and a private family interment will follow at a later date.
Deb was born on March 11, 1960 at Denver, Colorado to Richard H. and Rita Joan (Hankins) Avery and passed away on April 11, 2011 at Prowers Medical Center with her family by her side at age 51.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Rita Merrill, brother; Ron “Tiny” Avery, two sisters; Linda and Valeda Avery and grandmother; Josephine Owen.
Deb is survived by her children; Michelle Avery of Lamar and Dustin Avery of Denver as well as three grandchildren, brother; Rick Avery of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other family and a host of friends also survive.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Deb Avery Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.

Michelle,Dustin, family and friends of Deb Avery,
I was so sorry to hear of Debs passing. She will be missed by many and I know she was the rock that held you together. If you ever need to talk just call or come and see me. We can remember her smile and laugh together. At least now she can smile without pain and look down on you and her grandbabies and be happy. May God Bless and Keep You in this time of sorrow.
