for Harold Ausbun . . . . . from the Downing family in Cary, North Carolina
Dear Helen and family of Pastor Ausbun, It is with sadness that I learned of Pastor Ausbun's death today. He was a dear friend and loved by my Dad and Mother, George and Mollie Weimer and I always loved attending the Church of God when I was in Lamar. Pastor Ausbun officiated at both of my parents funerals and I will forever have memories of the time I shared with Helen, Pastor Ausbun and the many members of the congregation including Aunt Katie Schneider, Uncle Jake and Aunt Lydia Weimer, Eunice Potts and many other that were so special and kind to me during my stays in Lamar. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thankfully we know that Pastor Ausbun is in a better place and has restored health once again.
Sincerely, cathy downing
